Jalaine Wheeler is an associate in the firm’s Tax Credit Finance and Real Estate practice groups. Her practice focuses on representing real estate developers in connection with the development of market rate and low-income housing projects as well as commercial and retail developments. Her practice includes the formation of business entities and the sale, financing and acquisition of real property for development.

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Wheeler worked as Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service where she conducted audits of small to medium size businesses and worked on income and employment tax issues. She has also worked in private practice in the areas of tax compliance for individuals, trusts, and estates and counseled clients in tax disputes.

Ms. Wheeler is a member of the Missouri and American Bar Associations and is licensed in the State of Missouri as a Certified Public Accountant.
